You got me curious since I have never tried it on Windows before. In fact, I don't even have a machine that runs Windows but I do have a Windows VM that I test software with. So I gave it a try with the VM.

It's actually super easy and nothing out of the ordinary from how you would install any other software for Windows.

I just downloaded the installer from https://rime.im, executed it, and hit through all the defaults except for manually choosing Traditional Chinese just because that's what I use most. That's it. It just started working.
