Projects enabling Decentralized Compute with Blockchain

Those of you who know me, know that I come from an IT infrastructure and Datacenter background so anything compute related is naturally extra interesting to me. This is why I have on numerous occasions written about compute related Blockchain projects like AKASH. With that said, Akash is certainly not the only player in the space (It just happens to be my favorite). There are many projects ranging from ones already with usable products all the way to early stage ones that have novel concepts with a lot of potential. Needless to say, each an everyone of them has a chance to really redefine the future of cloud computing for the entire world.

What makes these projects so interesting is that they are not only going after the dream concept of achieving a new Internet through decentralization, they are also leveraging the power of Blockchain to provide platforms that enable much more cost effective compute resources to application developers around the world; often times at only 1/3 of the cost compared to the traditional cloud service providers.

Below, you will find a list of the said projects that I have been tracking myself in no particular order:

AKASH — $AKT
